WHAT YOU SHOULD DO BEFORE THE LASH APPOINTMENT

1) Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil free cleanser.

2) Do not use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to the application.

3) Do not put on any mascara. We don't want to spend time cleaning it out. We rather spend time working on perfecting your lashes.

4) Do not curl your lashes. Straight lashes work better.

5) If you are a contact wearer, remove contact lenses and wear glasses to your appointment. Or, bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive to your appointment.

6) Plan to set aside 2.5 hours for your appointment. Bring your own IPOD or favorite if you like. This is a relaxing sleeping beauty treatment. Most of our clients fell to sleep during the procedure. They are always amazed when they wake up with gorgeous looking lashes.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO AFTER YOUR LASH APPOINTMENT

To maintain long lasting lashes, requires team work. We have done our part of extending your lashes. Now it up to you to maintain them. Please follow these guide lines to achieve the best results.

1)Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours after your lash application. Take bath only that same day. You can shower the next day

2) Avoid swimming, steam rooms and hot saunas the next 48 hours. Extreme heat is not recommended.

3) Do not use eyelash curler, perm or tint the extension lashes. This will break the bond.

4) Do not use regular or waterproof mascara. Mascara will dissolve the adhesive. Only water-based mascara is recommended.

5) Do not rub your eyes too hard when cleaning.

6) Do not pull any loose extension lashes. Do not attempt to remove any extension lashes by pulling.

7) Use only  non-oily, non-creamy cleanser to remove make up.

8) Keep an eyelash comb handy to straighten up any stray lashes. Every single lash is individually extended. No clump, no knot so it is safe to groom our extension lashes. Comb lashes carefully and gently only when needed.

ENJOY YOUR LASHES AND SEE YOU AT THE NEXT APPOINTMENT

(THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND E-MAILS)

Hi Julie,

Thank you soooo... much for spending time doing my lashes. You are such a perfectionist. I love my lashes!!! I can't stop looking at my eyes while I was driving home. My lashes look so lush and pretty just like the pictures in your web site. My husband love them!!! Your lashes are by far more beautiful than the previous places that I went to. A lot of my people saw me at my friend's wedding. They will surely be calling you left and right. I hope you don't mind me giving out your phone number. I look forward to see you at my retouch.
Thanks again,
A.P.

Hello Julie,

I love my new extension lashes. I don't need to wear eye makeup anymore. I was so surprise and impressed how nice I look in the morning without any makeup on. I will recommend you to all my friends. By the way, do you ever consider doing the bottom lashes too? I can't imagine how nice they would look. Please let me know.
Thank you,
M.N.

I went to CA and took Julie's class that was posted earlier (julie@eyelashextensionsbyjulie.com). It was so worth the trip and highly recommended for those who are serious about doing eyelash extensions. I had looked at a few other lines and videos and took another class recently that I was already signed up for. Julie's method was the best. I met some of her clients who are extremely happy with her eyelash extensions and drive many miles to get them done by her. The glue and lashes are the nicest quality so far. The lashes are dark, thick, natural looking, and really stand out. The glue does not burn and holds the lashes on. Julie carries everything needed to begin the business. The biggest complaint I have heard from users of other products is the staying power of the glues and that some burn the eyes. I have already started doing clients who are very happy with them and the lashes have stayed on. It is a long tedious process that you do not want to have to re-do for a client because of poor quality products. We will be offering classes in CO soon with the same products and Julie's method, if anyone in the area is interested. 303-550-8921 Kimi

Hi Julie,

My name is T. Z. I recently came across your web site and I was so excited when I saw your work!! Your lashes truly are BEAUTIFUL!! I'm an Esthetician in the Los Angeles area and I've been doing some research on Lash Extensions for a while now but I was getting discouraged because every site out there that featured their Extensions were either long, sparse, or limp looking definitely not the thick, lush beautiful lashes that are on your web site. Can you please call me @ 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx. I'm very interested in your training and also how much your kits are. I'm a California Licensed Aesthetician but I'm currently going back to Cosmetology and I would very much like to offer this service. Thanks in advance!

Hi my name is W. A. Im an Aesthetician in orange county I recently purchased the lash kit from ___ Company. I like the lashes but the adhesive does not work most of my clients are losing about 1/2 of the lashes in the first week and am having to redo a lot of them at no charge of course. I also tried the lash adhesive from ____ Company and that seems to adhere better but it dries very fast and it is very goopy and messy to work with. If you know of anything better please let me know. Thank you.

Hi Julie! I used your kit today and the glue seems to work much better. The glue definitely seems to hold up well. Julie, thank you so much for your help today, it was a pleasure meeting you, you are such a beautiful lady and so kind for sharing your knowledge, I hope to keep in touch with you. THANK YOU

Julie,

Thank you for the helpful information, I have to let you know, I tried your lashes on a client today. I'm so glad I did, the result was beautiful. You are right about the lashes they curl up so much nicer than the ____ lash Company. I also tried the glue tip you gave me. I'll give you a call soon; have a great summer with your children.

Thanks,
W. A.

HI Julie,

Thank you so much for the eyelashes, glue etc! All I did when I got back to work, was do the other hairdresser and nail technician's eyelashes, and the clients saw them and now I cant keep up!!! THANK YOU!!! Don't worry though my work is very neat, no split lashes or blobs of glue! If you ever decide to come to Cape Town South Africa, please contact me. I would love to see you again... Thanks, L.A.

FREQUENT ASKES QUESTIONS

Q1. What is Eyelash Extension?

A1. Eyelash extension is a new procedure that extends the real lash with a new weightless and very natural looking synthetic lash.

Q2. How does the extension performed?

A2. The synthetic lash is applied hair by hair to each of your own lash using a special bonding agent that lasts through the length of your natural growth cycle of each lash, which is between 60 to 100 days.

Q3. Then why do I need to come for retouch every 3 or 4 weeks?

A3. Good question. Normally, not all of your eyelashes fall out at the same time. They replenish gradually day by day. You might loose 1 or 2 lashes each day but when your lashes are short, you don't notice it because they are all pretty much the same length. But when your eyelashes are extended, when some lashes fall off, you notice them right away because now, there is a length difference. Don't worry, when some lashes fall off, there are plenty of new ones that have come out ready for the eyelash technician to refill. That is when you need to come in to be beautified again. Some people like the full look all the time and come in every 2 weeks, some prefer coming in every 3 or 4 weeks. You can come as often as you want depends on your financial and time permit.

Q4. How do I take care of it?

A4. Eyelash extention are easily maintained. Just don't rub your eyes too hard when you clean them. Avoid any oil based cleansers, lotion or make-up remover. Gel cleanser is recommended. Use a small Q-tip to carefully clean the eyeliner around the eye.

Q5. Can I use eyelash curler?

A5. Not recommended because the synthetic lash already come with a very nice curve to it.

Q6. Can I use mascara?

A6. Not recommended because we picked very high quality lash which already comes with a good thickness to it. When you use Mascara, it defeats the purpose of having natural looking lash since it clumps together. Waterproof mascara is definitely not recommended because the cleaning agents will loosen the adhesive. If you insist then only use non-waterproof mascara only on the tips of the lashes. We also offer special coating mascara made for eyelash extensions.

Q7. What do I do before come in for the eyelash appointment?

A7. You should clean your lashes with mild cleanser. Don't use oily makeup remover to clean your lashes prior to the application. Don't curl your lash. Don't put on any mascara. Bring your iPod or your favorite music to listen to.

Q8. Is the lash extension glued to my skin?

A8. No, the extension lashes are glued about 1mm away from your skin. Neither the synthetic lash nor the glue ever come in contact with your skin.

Q9. Is the glue odorless?

A9. Absolutely, our glue is odorless. No burning or tearing will occur.

Q10. How do you remove the extension lashes?

A10. There are 2 ways:

1. Come and let us professionally remove them with a special remover. Please do not attempt to remove  them yourself. The glue is very strong.
2. Let the extension lashes slowly fall out by themselves. Which takes about 2 months.
